There are different ranks that the player can attain, depending on how well the player performs. If a player is shot while holding a more powerful weapon, it is lost and the player reverts to the original revolver. The Gatling guns and cannons can each be used only once but the other four weapons can be reloaded the same way as the revolver. 50 caliber Sharps rifles, higher-capacity rifles, double rigs, shotguns, Gatling guns, and cannons. Additional weaponry can be found throughout the game that will give the player better firepower. To reload, the player must aim the light gun away from the screen and pull the trigger. The player begins with a revolver that can hold six rounds. Just like the original game, a dip switch setting in the arcade version allows operators to let players progress through the stages in a linear fashion ("arcade mode") or select individual stages ("street mode"), including the between level target practice stages. Each stage features a boss that must be killed in order to complete the stage (though a unique case happened in the third stage where the boss battle is in the form of a dueling mini-game). During each stage, the player must shoot the armed outlaws without harming any innocent townsfolk or fellow lawmen. Lethal Enforcers 2 has five stages: "The Bank Robbery", "The Stage-Holdup", "Saloon Showdown", "The Train Robbery", and "The Hide-Out". The game overs when all life units are gone, but continued play is available. Every time the player, an innocent civilian or lawman is shot, one life unit will be lost. Life units are also awarded based on how many points the player scores while playing the game. In the arcade version, more can be purchased by inserting additional coins. At the beginning of the game, three to five life units are available. In this game, the goal is to shoot outlaws in order to eradicate crime from a stereotypical town in the American West of 1873. Years later, Konami released Lethal Enforcers 3. A Super NES version of the game was also announced that same year, but was unreleased. The game was bundled along with the first Lethal Enforcers game as part of the PlayStation compilation Lethal Enforcers I & II. Ports of the game were released for the Genesis and Sega CD. In contrast with the first game's modern law enforcement theme, Lethal Enforcers II takes place in the American Old West. Lethal II is just as good as the original, and its new features will make it one of the hottest shooters of the year.Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters, known in Japan as Lethal Enforcers 2: The Western, is a 1994 light gun shooter arcade game and prequel to the original Lethal Enforcers. And it's Magnum-style casing feels more realistic for a Western shooter. This premier light gun is more effective than it was in the first Lethal, especially when you're targeting moving objects. Every gamer who's ever used the Justifier is acquainted with its accuracy and quick trigger action. Each weapon has a distinct firing pattern that creates an intensely realistic shooting experience.Īlthough you can use a regular controller, you gotta go with the gun. The best features, though, are the shooting effects. New digitized voices and enemy sound effects will inspire you to heroic deeds. In the sound department, Lethal II is everything its predecessor was and more. Although the blood and gore were left out, the clear digitized sprites will have you ducking behind the couch, and the realistic BD-style back grounds give you more Western flavor than Tombstone. Much like the first game, Lethal II's graphics are hot. Take advantage of this option before you lose it. Sega lethal enforcers 2 full#Other sharp pixels include daggers hurling into the screen and some cool bullet-holes when gunmen fill you full of lead. The train and the stagecoach shootouts, which are on the move, look particularly slick. The digitized bandits give you good-looking moving targets. The visuals are handsome, despite the grainy Sega CD look. The new firearms do a good job, but you lose 'em when you get drilled. Sega lethal enforcers 2 upgrade#If you get weary of your revolver, you can upgrade your firepower by shooting gun icons for double-barrel shotguns, Gatling guns, cannons, and, of course, a two-gun rig. The first- person shootout rages across five levels in the usual Western locales, including a bank, saloon, and stagecoach. They're a-ridin' hoses and a-holdin' hostages. The desperadoes jump from behind barrels and bushwhack you from windows. This game is tough on the trigger finger because the opposition comes gunnin' for you in an endless stream. The Justifier works great, and if point and shoot is your "idear" of a good time, LE ll's a gunslinger's dream. Naturally, GunFighters is all about gun control.uh, make that gun controller. GunFighters is a basic blast! You pack a blue Konami Justifier light gun on your own or form a posse with a pal, if they don't mind usin' the pink shootin' iron.
